Upcoming Team Dates and Locations in the Field 2009:


Team 1: Lake Natron, Tanzania, March 28th – April 11th

PIs David Harper/Ken Mavuti/Pantaleo Munishi - part of the Britsh Council "Field IT" project and additional participants welcome

Team 2: Lake Bogoria, Kenya April 12th – 25th

PI David Harper - a combination of research on the soda lake and a community livelihoods project undertaken by 3rd year university students; additional participants welcome

Team 3: Lake Baringo, Kenya, April 20th - May 2nd

PI David Harper & Ian Donohue - a taught course in Biodiversity Conservation, part of the M.Scs of Leicester and of Dublin; additional postgraduate students welcome

Team 4: Lake Baringo, Kenya, Kenya, July 10th – July 24th

PI Jon Grey/Ian Donohue/Rob Britton - a research team of undergraduates/postgraduates conducting their project field work; additional students welcome for either project work or field experience

Team 5: Lake Bogoria, Kenya, July 26th - August 14th

PI David Harper/Lindsay Oaks - an undergraduate project research team studying soda lake ecology and flamingo behaviour: additional undergraduates welcome for either project work or field experience
